I first spotted this while just browsing. I looked and passed it over and went on.. but something of this image stuck in my head and after 4-5 pages I had to come back find and revisit it.
The first thing that springs to my mind is the video and song by Brad Paisley called "waiting on a woman" ( with Andy Griffith ) and I think that's the impact that this photo has.
I wont try and humanize this or say that's what is happening here but we all see and are impacted by suck visuals in our own special way and that's what drew me back to this.
This captured moment out of time is more unique than I first understood when I first just glanced at it.
Everything from the unfocused background to the crispness of the foreground and light and shadows bringing out the detail to even the simple creativity in building that bench as a bird rest all blend in to make the framework of the obvious central point of the Cardinal.
HOW you got it to pose in just such a way to have such a direct visual impact is beyond magic the positioning, placement and even ( yes going humanistic again ) expression if so perfect it is surreal.
I truly believe you have captured one of those moments that just happen and then in an eye-blink vanish as if they never were.
well this was and is now captured and can be seen it was and that tiny sliver of happening ca now be enjoyed by more than one.
Just waiting on a woman ( smile)
